Deborah has been an artist all her life. She began drawing before the age of 3; her mother tells how, one day, when she was drawing stick men for Deborah, Deborah took her mother's hand, moved it away from the paper, took the pencil - and never let Mummy draw again!

Since those days, Deborah has worked in several two-dimensional media, including watercolor, pen & ink, oil pastels and oil paints. Due to the fact they stand the test of time, she prefers to execute most of her work in oils although, for her annual Xmas card picture, she uses oil pastels, as they allow speedier completion of work.

Deborah is also a designer and makes one-of-a-kind and limited run women's clothing, notably jackets, tunics, vests, wraps and shawls.

She has her own label "Harobed" and markets her clothing designs through Harobed Designs. Many of these pieces have been featured in runway shows.
